Passed 6 yes.   Visitors to Address Council:   Kevin Lutz – talked with council members before the meeting regarding a tree in his neighbor’s yard.   Steps will be taken to try to notify the neighbor.   Mayor’s Report and Correspondence:   Mayor Joseph read proclamation setting Friday – April 27th as Arbor Day in the Village. Urging all citizens to celebrate Arbor Day and to support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands and urge all citizens to plant trees to gladden the heart and promote the well-being of this and future generations.   Regarding trees – The Tree Committee is in need of at least 3 volunteers as several of the current members are retiring. The next meeting of the Tree Committee will be held on May 21st at 6 pm. You do not need to be a resident of the Village. The 3rd graders sent in some thank you letter to her for the visit.   Mayor Joseph along with Parkway school personnel, police, fire, EMS held a meeting to discuss school safety.   They are doing research and reviewing current procedures and policies.   The have plans for preparedness and prevention. Eliminate 1/1 in our wastewater collection system. This should keep us good for the next 30 years. Blair and Bubba will be gaining more responsibility with WWTP and WTP – will be retiring in 1 – 2 years.   Shanes Park – Remove and replace existing electric meter service currently to old Shane Hall building.
