Village Administrator’s Report – Jeff Long
Attended a meeting with OML representatives regarding community energy purchasing. We believe with this aggregation for electric may benefit our residents with some savings.
RESOLUTION 15-17
A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO A PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT REGARDING ENERGY PURCHASING PROGRAMS OF THE OHIO MUNICIPAL LEAGUE AND ASSIGNING A SIGNATORY OFFICIAL.

Subdivision – pavement and property lines are done. The next step will be us doing some trenching so that DP & L can come in to place electric lines. Once DP & L is finished Dominion will come in to bore gas lines. We will install water meters as each property is sold.
We have had some issues with water meters. We are in the process of switching out meters. These are still under warranty.
Wastewater treatment plant – we have been awarded a grant in the amount of
$480,000.
Columbia Street – turned out good.
Main Street repaired area – had paving company patch the area better. Should not be a bump in the road any longer.
Leaf pick up will continue through December 20th. After that date, leaves will need to be bagged and set out by the curb.

ORDINANCE 06/17
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROCKFORD, STATE OF OHIO, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31,2018 and declaring an emergency.

Many pot holes around town. When time, have guys work on them – several are quite large.

Old Business
The ‘ally’ beside the old Colonial Nursing Home – continues to be a problem with people driving through trying to short cut the 4 way stop. Something needs to be done. Some signage – some tickets and it would be taken care of. Jeff and Srgt Stetler to work on the problem. Need to get information as to who owns property and if the Village might own any of the property in that location.
New Business
We will not be having the December 19th meeting.
