The meeting began at 8 am with 5 members present.
Lisa gave the financial report.
We are wanting to have an event at Community Days to replenish our Scholarship fund for next year. Marie Miller of Brand It Marketing has volunteered to do face painting. We will be asking businesses to sponsor our event and scholarship with a donation to the event in the amount of $25. Each sponsor will be listed on the banner to advertise the face painting event. The face painting will cost $5. The hours will be Friday from 6 – 9 pm and Saturday from 1 – 3 pm — June 15 and 16.
Marie and Lisa will get a letter emailed to the businesses for event sponsorship.
Lisa to contact Amy to get the information on the list of events.
Twyla Hayes of Brand It Marketing has volunteered to plan / organize and facilitate the Chamber Banquet this year. We will begin by getting a date set.
Nancy gave an update on the Leadership program. Going good !
Mary will present the Chamber Scholarship on May 16th.
Mary has convertible lined up for Barb Pedroza for Community Days parade.
Discussed doing a ribbon cutting on Saturday at the new Rock Solid Performance business.. Will check to see if that is ok with them – may do The Fix at the same time ? Tentative 1 pm on Saturday.
