Passed 6 yes.   Discussed a cross walk across Main St – at Pearl St.   Post office emailed a request to move one of the 15 minute parking areas to Main St.. Council discussed the issue and feels it’s safer for elderly to exit vehicles on Market St. instead of Main St. Request was denied.   Council also noted that business owners should be parking off Main Street to leave parking for customers.   Subdivision coming along – paving hopefully next week. 1 – 2 days.  Subdivision was seeded this week with a waterway seed ground cover just in time for the rain...

Passed 5 yes.   Visitors to Address Council:   Nancy Leighner thanked the Village Administrator, Village Employees, Fire Department, Volunteers and others that help make Rockford a good place to live.   Nancy and Marti continue to find ways to help out by weeding the splash pad and keep the area by the blue wall cleaned up and trash picked up.   Recently at a Bicentennial meeting, we found out that the blue wall (off Main St. ) would need sand blasted and cleaned for an art project with Shannon Painter Carpenter and the Parkway school.  They will be painting tiles to make a mosaic artwork on the wall. The rest of the wall will be painted with a mural – maybe a train.   Steve Gehle volunteered to help with the sandblasting of the wall.
