Judging at the Firehouse at 7 pm.     * new hours began last year    Saturday – November 2nd – Lions Club Fish Fry       Village Administrator’s Report – Jeff Long   Joe Roth has been given 50 cents per hour raise – has been here 3months and is doing a great job.   Both Bubba and Blair have been here 12 years – very happy with our employees.   Odor at the sewer plant – we had 3 units down for 2 weeks.   The units have since been replaced and were under warranty.   We will be adding a small aerator at a minimum cost to help ensure lowest amount of odor possible. We are hoping this will safe guard the process so we don’t have problems.   Engineering meeting this week regarding the water tower. I have enjoyed helping make decisions for park improvements and seeing all the smiling faces of those families enjoying the park for graduations and reunion festivities.   Effective August 31st of this year, I will be stepping down and will be enjoying retirement.   I have asked Jeremy and Amy Joseph to take over at this time and will be available to help them transition until the end of the year.   Sincerely,   Sandy Schaffner     Council to Sandy — Thanks for all you and board have done with the park – it’s truly a bright spot in our village.   Marlene – Sandy has been greatly appreciated through the years as she has made visitors to the buildings and park feel so welcome. Interested in partnering with community organizations with fundraisers on specific events. They only sell what they make. There will be 12-16 different brews with a variety of flavors. They will also have cream soda – a non-alcoholic drink and some iced coffee options. The will be music and TV – especially when the Buckeyes are playing.
